Supporting Bell Formwork on Anglian Water’s Suffolk Reservoir

From March 2024 through to May 2025, Ramcrete supported Bell Formwork in the construction of a new water tank for Anglian Water in Suffolk. Over the course of the project, our pumps played an important role in delivering consistent, efficient pours to keep the build moving.

In total, 2,884.5 m³ of concrete was placed across multiple pours. We supplied a range of mobile boom pumps, from our compact 24 metre boom for tighter areas to our 60 metre boom for long-reach sections, ensuring every stage of the project was completed safely and on schedule.

This project showcases our growing experience in the reservoir sector – a field we’re seeing expand rapidly across the UK. With several reservoir builds completed in 2025 alone, Ramcrete is well-positioned to support the increasing demand for reliable concrete pumping on large-scale water infrastructure.

Project requirements:

  • Long-term concrete pumping support (14 months)
  • Range of 24m – 56m mobile boom pumps
  • Skilled, accredited operators experienced in large-scale infrastructure
  • Flexible scheduling to meet phased pour requirements

I’ve worked with Ramcrete on various projects over the past few years. The largest and most impressive was Rede WTW where we constructed a new drinking water reservoir. Ramcrete supplied the pumps and drivers for all the pours which total a mass 6000m3 of concrete. The experience and skill of the drivers was first class, and all the pours went as smoothly as possible! If I had my way, Ramcrete would be my first choice on every project.
